SUNDAYS 10.30am

Everyone is welcome to join us as we worship God.

It doesn't matter if you follow Jesus or don't know anything about God yet. It doesn't matter if you feel absolutely rock bottom or on top of the world.

We believe it is our most basic need to worship God!

Sundays at People's Church begin officially at 10.30am every week, but there are always people there early if you'd like a chat. We also have some worship songs before the service. You don't have to dress smart at all - it's very casual (but you can dress up if you want!)

Every service includes lots of singing worshipful songs about God - we have a live band to help us do this. We always have prayer and Bible teaching. We love when the Holy Spirit speaks to us - not just through the sermon or the songs, but when God gives people a word of encouragement, or prophesy, or a word in tongues.

We start our service all together as a church family. We always have stuff for kids and youth - the under 11s head out to Kids Church and Creche just before 11, as do the Youth group.

After the service there are always refreshments and drinks available and time to catch up with one-another, because this is church, too!

Some special services we stay together for the whole service, including children and young people.

SAFEGUARDING

As part of our commitment to love God and love the community, we take the wellbeing and safeguarding of children, young people and adults very seriously. Sally Walker-Smith leads our Safeguarding Team, and James Meredith is Deacon for Safeguarding. Every person who serves in our children's work and with young people are fully DBS checked, also going through Safeguarding Training and an application process for their roles. Our safeguarding policy statement is available in pdf form (right) , and a full copy of our safeguarding policy is available upon request.
